Photographing the debut visuals for Nova:II (.official) meant translating more than their collective sound into images. It’s the meeting of two distinct artists, each with their own identity, brought together in a project that feels both powerful and meant to be.

We built a visual world around that idea. We shot at .rotterdam, a raw and industrial art exhibition space. A setting that feels both grounded and futuristic, echoing the direction of their new chapter. We combined this incredible atmosphere with bold styling, lighting and posing. We made space for both personalities to stand while feeling unmistakably connected.

Lookbook for the “Blasphemous Bodies” show by at last year ♥️

Pauline Blind’s debut collection “Blasphemous Bodies” reclaims female bodily autonomy through emotionally charged designs that merge hyperfemininity with female rage, using fashion as a tool to question patriarchal structures and empower women by creating a tension of elegance and boldness.

Gezocht: twee kernteamleden voor de Huisje Boompje Beestje Expositietour

Hoi allemaal! Na vier succesvolle exposities gaat Huisje Boompje Beestje op tour langs verschillende steden in Nederland. Met deze maatschappelijke fotoserie maken we de gevolgen van het leenstelsel en de wooncrisis voor de pechgeneratie zichtbaar. Rond iedere expositie organiseren we ook een publieksprogramma met ruimte voor ontmoeting, gesprek en reflectie.

Om deze tour mogelijk te maken, zoeken we twee enthousiaste kernteamleden (t/m 30 jaar) die ongeveer een jaar willen meebouwen aan het project. Je kunt bijdragen op het gebied van productie, communicatie, curatorschap, marketing of social media. De tijdsinvestering is gemiddeld 1 tot 3 uur per week, heel flexibel qua planning, grotendeels online en af en toe op locatie.

Je komt terecht in een betrokken team, doet waardevolle praktijkervaring op binnen een professioneel georganiseerd maatschappelijk kunstproject, bouwt aan een netwerk in de kunst- en cultuursector én draagt bij aan meer gelijke kansen voor de pechgeneratie.

Het project wordt mede mogelijk gemaakt door subsidie. Daardoor is er een uitvoeringsbudget voor de expositietour en de publieksactiviteiten, maar kunnen we helaas geen vrijwilligersvergoeding of salaris aanbieden.

Album cover shoot for “ODE AAN HET KIND” by MERR.

This album is about healing, embracing and caring for your inner child. We wanted the visuals to reflect the peace that can exist at the end of that journey. Something soft, ethereal and dreamlike, filled with radiant goddess energy.

“De Familiedroom” (“The Family Dream”). This part of the Huisje Boompje Beestje series explores the growing distance between society’s expectations and the reality many young people face today.

For many members of the pechgeneratie (the generation shaped by overlapping crises), building what used to be considered an ordinary, stable life no longer feels like a given. Rising housing costs, student debt and uncertainty about the future have made milestones like buying a home and starting a family, for those who want to do so, feel increasingly out of reach.

De Familiedroom explores the tension between the life many people were taught to aspire to and the reality in which they now find themselves.

What happens when an ordinary life becomes a privilege rather than an expectation?

New press kit for ⚡️

For this press kit shoot, we explored the contrast between warmth and masculinity. It’s a reflection of the person behind the decks: social, energetic and deeply passionate about bringing people together through music, while carrying the discipline and strength shaped by his experience in the military. We translated those different sides into a set of photos that feel authentic to who JulliusD is.
