I really enjoy doing family photoshoots with people visiting the Netherlands. I get to be a photographer, a tour guide, sometimes I even have the opportunity to practice my counselling skills and I definitely share my love for food by bombarding them with lots of places to eat and drink. An intimate wedding at the beautiful Oude Stadhuis Delft - a historic gem for a couple whose story is full of love, adventure and connection. This Argentinian couple brought so much emotion into the ceremony, every moment felt alive. Afterwards, the celebration unfolded in the most relaxed way: a cozy evening surrounded by their closest people, laughter, and South American flavours. Sometimes the small weddings are the biggest at heart!

I've been photographing this family since I first moved to the Netherlands. They became dear friends and seeing how the kids grow is just fantastic. For this day in the life session we spent time wandering in a modern art museum, getting lost between installations, colors, and the occasional perfectly-timed serendipitous humour 😆

Two stunning brides, one blazing hot day, and a wedding that could power The Hague on pure joy. Their group of friends? Hilarious. Their families? Total sweethearts. The vibe? Somewhere between heartfelt movie montage and champagne-fueled dance floor chaos (the good kind).
hosted it all and I had the best time capturing every laugh, tear, and breeze.

Weddings like this remind me why I love what I do. No stiff posing, just real people doing real love.

Some weddings are big productions. Others are short, sweet, and exactly how the couple wants them. This one happened on a quiet weekday at The Hague city hall. Just their closest people, and a lot of intention. I’m always honoured to witness and photograph moments like these.

Honoured to announce I'm one of the winners of Collection 30 At This is Reportage family photography awards! As ever, it was incredibly difficult to pick up an Award: Just under 5,300 images were submitted across the Reportage Family Award (for the very best individual captures) and Family Story Award (for a series of 15 – 20 images of a single family) entries, with five judges for this round choosing just 36 Reportage Family Awards and 14 Family Story Awards.
