Ik houd van visueel aantrekkelijke beelden en vanaf 22 jarige leeftijd ben ik begonnen met fanatiek fotograferen. Als een 'vo**ur' wandel ik door een evenement waar ik de mensen vastleg zoals ze op hun mooiste zijn; spontaan en in hun element. En in een andere gelegenheid wanneer ik met producten of mode werk, dan leef ik mij in bij het merk en wil ik de beelden creëren die voor het merk spreken.

Today is my last full day on Mauritius, getting ready for tomorrow's 16-hour flight... It was one heck of an experience, so thank you Mauritius for your hospitality! You look gorgeous with all of your colours.

So currently I'm on Mauritius with still some couple of days off after a wedding here. I've the brought Phase One XF camera with me and damn that thing is cool! I must say, I needed a while to program it to my likings and to get used to the way this machine responds. The button functions are for example very customisable and the basic config wasn't that good. But.. the results are amazing. The depth of the colour, the dynamic range and the level of detail the camera captures is astonishing! Take a look at this sample, the cropped photo is only at 50%!!
I've received the camera from Phase One to gain more insights on the camera prior to my design project and there are already some interesting leads (from a designer's perspective). So can't wait to shoot more with this beauty!

And as if it couldn't get any crazier, tonight I'll be flying to Mauritius to shoot a wedding. After that I have some extra days to scout the island. Boy oh boy, I am so looking forward to this!

Starting from June I will be working on a design project at Phase One in Copenhagen. As part of my master graduation in Industrial Design Engineering, it's so nice to merge these two into one. Super excited times! I can't tell any specifics on what I'll be doing, but rest assured it's going to be awesome.
Today I got their top-of-the-line camera to gain more insights and I must say I don't mind playing with this beauty 😇
