I recently had the opportunity to visit Bardiya National Park in Nepal, and it was an unforgettable experience. The park is home to an abundance of wildlife, from the majestic Bengal Tiger to the mischievous Gangetic Dolphin. I was fortunate enough to capture some of the animals' natural beauty in the photos I took during my stay. It was truly a remarkable journey that I will cherish forever.

Meet Dhurbe or better known by his nickname Valentino. The most dangerous Elephant from Nepal with his own wikipedia page. He killed over 20 people in Nepal and India. We had a close encounter with him while driving by on around 5 meter distance and he blew his horn and tried to attack us. Luckily he missed our jeep on inches 🙄 93 military where send to kill him but they could not find him in the 900 km2 National park. There are hardly good pictures of this huge animal.

After all the Covid problems I was able to travel after a long time. And then, of course, my first destination is always beautiful Nepal.

I went to Koshi Tappu reserve/river which was on my list for a long time. I enjoyed it a lot, even the encounter with a snake in a public toilet, don't expect too much luxury there.

I was lucky to see the rare river Dolphins but they did not want to show themself too much, but the proof is here. On the last day, I ran into this Elephant, the same one who attacked some tourist a week earlier. Luckily we were on a one-way road to the river. 😁😁

Weekend out of Kathmandu, and in Pokhara. From a few years ago but still nice I think. There was a very nice hotel, Fulbari Resort, just out of the center with a small valley below it and a wonderful balcony which is one of my favorite spots in Pokhara. Unfortunately last time it was closed but they let me in to take pictures.

I try to bring my camera if I think there is an opportunity to take pictures. And in this case, I also did. I had been at the Grand Canyon before but this time I took a chopper through the canyon itself. Quite an amazing experience, also it was my first chopper ride.

We had the change to visit Telegraph Cove, a formal Japanese Salmon factory place as a lot of salmons are there at the end of august. That attracts a lot of other animals like orca's but we were 2 weeks too early. But will come here again for the grizzly bears, salmons and especially orca's again.
