Had one last class of 2026 senior yesterday evening and I love that we did them in a place so special to Aidan!
We couldn't have asked for a better evening, or a better furry friend to join for a few shots. She has been his pal since the day they brought her into the family.
Aidan is pursuing some pretty awesome certifications in aircraft mechanics and really looking forward to getting his hands dirty in some of his upcoming classes. We are so proud of you Aidan and look forward to seeing all you do in your future. You sure have come a long way from the little first grader I met all those years ago.

YayyY! Another Senior I remember from elementary school, and all the in between! We had a beautiful evening for Kristina‘s senior photos at Leesylvania State Park. There are so many beautiful photos from her session, it’s certainly going to be a challenge narrowing down favorites!
One of my favorite things about her and the her family is that there is never a shortage of laughs and fun with Kristina around. It was so nice to spend some time chatting and hearing about her next chapter at Christopher Newport University! She’ll be continuing her education in biology and pre-vet sciences. Way to go Kristina! You should be so proud of all that you’ve done. I wish you all the best at CNU!! It’s going to be fantastic.

We managed to time this one perfectly this evening before the rain started coming down a bit too fast. We were able to represent his love for golfing, and most importantly, baseball! He's a man of many interests and talents.
In the Fall, Harrison will be heading down to Elon to continue his education on an accelerated path in PT, and told me there's a golf course not far away, so he's all good 😉
I love these shots from our time this evening and can't wait to get to the rest of them! Harrison, best of luck to you in the next adventure.

It was a perfect evening in DC for Aurora's senior session! Starting at the Jefferson Memorial with the hundreds of other grads, then making our way over to Lincoln. She came with the prettiest dress to use too! I was obsessed, it's so pretty!!
We had a great time chatting and learning that we share a love for a few guilty-pleasure reality shows, so, needless to say we had plenty to talk about. Aurora will be heading to Virginia Tech next year and I know she's going to love it as much as her sister does. It's going to be a perfect fit. She is going to study Medicinal Chemistry! She is one very driven young woman. She's going to crush this next chapter and have a blast while doing it.
Aurora, I'm wishing you all the best in the next chapter!

Ohhh how I loved this session! We switched days to avoid some rain coming our way and I am thrilled that it was able to happen because these senior photos of Caitlin are so lovely.
I loved chatting with her during her session. She is so full of positive energy, it's infectious. She is headed to Radford University next Fall to study business marketing and so much more. She's going to be one busy young woman, but she has a fun creative outlet to utilize in between all the other important things...photography! It was fun to share that interest.
Best of luck to you Caitlin, I'll be cheering for you in a few short weeks!

My oh my, this year is a love/hate relationship with my awesome job because SO many of these seniors grew up with my own daughter so I remember them in elementary school and just like that, p**f, they're all graduating! SO...I LOVE hearing all the things, about their accomplishments and all about their next chapter, but I hate how fast this all went...for me, for their parents, all of that stuff! HA. I'm going through it with you guys this year.
All that to say...this amazing young woman is one of those that I remember from elementary school. I love the energy and fun she brought to her senior photo session, and she really let her personality shine through. That's one of my favorite things. Lillie also chose a fantastic location for her session, Meadowlark Botanical Gardens...yayyy! So good.
She is headed to WVU next Fall and is going to someday do work with all the medical prosthetics and things like that. Impressive!
Lillie, I am so excited for you!!

I got to photograph an incredibly talented senior and artist this evening! Although this senior prefers to keep her social media presence to a minimum, I was so impressed by her skills, she said I could share her artwork. Aren’t these amazing?!

Yesterday evening was a lot of fun with this graduating senior! We met up at the Jefferson Memorial and stopped here and there and everywhere as we walked through different parts of the National Mall. I don’t often get to photograph up there so it was a nice change! I’m
We had lots of middle school tours that we had to duck and dodge, but it made for some good laughs 😂
Hannah is off to VCU in the Fall to pursue her studies in Nursing!! Way to go! It was a pleasure getting to know you a bit and I hope you enjoy the rest of senior year, you’re almost done! 🎉

I am so happy I got to shoot out at the battlefields on this gorgeous day with this awesome young woman!
With going to Ole Miss and excited to be rushing this fall, she definitely has some big things to look forward to in the near future. She’s going to be studying criminal justice and pre-law! Get it!!! All that said, she’s ready for the next chapter.
There are so many great shots from this evening so it was hard to narrow down for a post tonight! Enjoy!

Emma, congratulations on all you’ve accomplished and all that is yet to come.
