Op het voormalige AZC-terrein van Groot Deunk staat nu Concentric Spheres. Buurtbewoners, nieuwkomers van het en basisschoolkinderen deelden hun dromen, verbeeld in glazen bollen, ingestraald in het kunstwerk. There’s only one more week to catch Standing on the Shoulders of Giants II at Saatchi Gallery.

Open until Monday 12 January, the exhibition explores the historical and ongoing invisibility of female artists. Nine Dutch female artists have created new works in direct response to pieces by women in the ’s collection – works that have served as essential sources of inspiration. The result is a powerful visual dialogue spanning generations.

Featuring new works by:
Margriet van Breevoort, Lily de Bont, Larissa Esvelt, Bregje Sliepenbeek, Louise te Poele, Audrey Large, Anya Janssen, Bobbi Essers, and Femmy Otten.

Organised by:
Saatchi Gallery, in collaboration with the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), SMAG foundation, Curator Louise te Poele, Organisation & Communications Hanne ter Meulen, Graphic Designer:Jeen Berting, Assistant curator Grace Allen, art handlers Lonneke Eekelder and Roos Smit.
