I had never seen this before...
A teenage brother at his baby sister's birth. He supported his mum through labour, cried when his baby sister was born, dressed her himself and couldn't stop saying: She's so cute.

Everything was fine... until it wasn't.

After giving birth, this mom had to go to the operating room. While she was there, her baby's condition changed and she needed some extra support.

I always find it fascinating how different babies can be at birth. The answers in my stories today were so varied.
Some tiny. Some surprisingly big.
It never feels “big” or “small” in the moment. Only real.
