15 April 2026 - Tax Day in the USA!

Comet C/2025 R3 (Panstarrs) in the eastern morning sky just before sunrise in the Blue Hour, I caught the comet saying hello to the International Space Station (ISS). Or perhaps it was the other way around :)

The comet's coma is visible with some wispy details in its faint tail. It's surrounded by miscellaneous satellites zipping by in the pre-dawn sky.

The Bright White streak in the upper left is the ISS zipping by at a distance of approximately 1100 kilometers from me. The brightness magnitude is -0.13.

The Comet at the time was at a distance of 108.821m kilometers away and the brightness magnitude was approximately 8.58.
