Thrilled to see some of my work on show last year just before Christmas "El Lenguaje del Silencio: lo que la materia recuerda" as part of a group exhibition in México!

In this group exhibition, objects cease to be mere things. The still life becomes a space for listening, a silent territory where the domestic, the organic, and the artificial begin to reveal stories that usually go unnoticed.

Each photograph takes an everyday object and gently shifts it from its usual function: a cup becomes a vestige of a memory; a piece of fruit, an emotional echo; a tool reveals the choreography of the hand that once held it. Nothing remains still. Nothing remains silent.

Here, the still life ceases to be dead. Matter is activated, remembers, murmurs. The still life becomes a visual laboratory where the everyday becomes an event, and objects regain their capacity to enchant the world.

Inside Manuel Álvarez Bravo Residence (Casa MAB).

A Masterpiece designed and built by Architect Jose de la Vega in 1955 at the artist's request as a home and personal studio. In those years, the south of Mexico City still had a rural feel, and the house adapted to the uneven ground carved by the lava of the Xitle volcano.

Here in this cinematic setting where nature meets art, honouring the legacy of one of the greatest photographers of the 20th century worldwide, conversations about literature, photography, film, architecture and life.

His work spans from the late 1920s to the 1990s. According to numerous critics, the work of this "poet of the lens" expresses the essence of Mexico, but the humanist perspective reflected in his work, the aesthetic, literary and musical references it encompasses, also gives it a universal dimension.

Thank you so much and from for such a carefully detailed visit with an in depth history of the past of the most important figures in 20th century Latin American photography.🙏🙌

Spotted these beautiful Carnaby's black-cockatoos in the Banksia woodlands and eucalyptus trees.🌿

They can live for 40 to 50 years in the wild and display strong bonds with their partners throughout their adult life and they are only found in the southwest of Western Australia 💚
