Last month was my Birthday, I turned 49 years old, a new cicle starting before jumping into a special decade. Many thoughts have been going in my head about my life, my achievements, my challenges, my goals, dreams and all the things I want to accomplish during this new Year.
I started my birthday with an skate trip with friends that brought me a lot of happiness and freedom, and this past week was very meaningful to me… I have had the opportunity to meet personally one of the photographers I most admire who has inspired me during my career DAVID LACHAPELLE, thanked to my dear friend Annie who together with LaChapelle create beautiful images and art.
The week continued to another special day on Wednesday where thanks my friend Mauricio I met and photographed an amazing person, Jaime Lavin, a very talented Architecht an Artist, who beyond the beautiful architecture and art he creates, goes beyond in the way he has build his life around his vision.
This Self Portrait taken at Jaime´s gorgeous Art-House means a lot to me, is a reflection of me at this new cicle in my life, it means to me my past and present together, my achievements, my joy, but also knowledges all the challenges that are part of my life to continue doing what I´m passionate about, as well the difficulties that make me grow and be who I am.
I´m very greatful with the amazing people that I have met through my life, my friends and the new amazing people I´m having the honor and pleasure to meet and become friends with.
Thank you to all my friends who sent me beautiful wishes for my birthday, my apologies for not replying all the messages, I needed to take some time off social media to connect with my self and think and dream about this coming year 😊
