So incredibly happy to share this project in collaboration with the Alnour Association in Marrakech. As seen on WAASTAA واسطة 🌞

‘Alnour is a Marrakech-based association that employs Moroccan women with disabilities, making sustainable garments hand-embroidered by the women themselves. We spent a week with them; documenting everyday life at the association and shooting a series with Amazigh model Tilila Oulhaj wearing their pieces, styled by Hayley Clutterbuck, with jewellery by local Amazigh jeweller Jilali Labghali.

The project lives in two parts: a documentary and a fashion story, two ways into the same world.’

Living far from home changes the way you remember it. Distance creates a disconnect as relationships evolve, life moves forward, and familiar places continue to age without you. While much of home changes, certain details remain remarkably constant: home remedies passed down, familiar skylines, childhood objects, worn pool tiles that have never been replaced. These ordinary elements become anchors for the memory. They shape the understanding of home and give you a sense of continuity, drawing you back even after years away.

In my new personal series « Some Things Never Change » I explore how these familiar constants preserve the sense of home across time and distance. The work reflects on memory, belonging, and the enduring connection we maintain with the places we come from.
