Concept - Empire of Elegance
This collection is a dialogue between Sri Lanka’s rich cultural heritage and contemporary couture, where history is transformed into a new expression of fashion.
Inspired by the regal elegance of Queen Alexandra and the intricate visual language of the Kathaluwa Poorwarama Viharaya frescoes, the collection explores the meeting of two distinct cultural influences — the grandeur of British royal fashion and the timeless artistry of Sri Lankan heritage.
Intricate digital textile prints, handcrafted embellishments, gold ornamental detailing, structured corsetry, sculptural sleeves, draping and layered chainwork transform historical imagery into wearable couture.
