PAWA 254 Pawa254 is a space for creatives who meet, network, share and collaborate on social impact projects designed to foster social change.

PAWA 254 is a hub for visual creatives in Kenya and the region. PAWA 254- Power in Swahili + Kenya country code for national unity. The space will bring together established and aspiring photographers, cartoonists, animators, video & filmmakers to work, learn and share in an environment that inspires creativity.

On August 27th, 2010, ๐“๐ก๐ž ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐Š๐ž๐ง๐ฒ๐š was promulgated after Kenyans voted overwhelmingly in favour of the landmark legislation. A turning point in Kenya's history which promised notable reforms in good governance, accountability, and the rule of law.

Today as we observe ๐Š๐š๐ญ๐ข๐›๐š ๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ, we take a moment to reflect on the significance of this day and what it has meant for Kenya over the last 16 years. While we cherish and value the gains we have achieved, we also reflect on the gaps in implementation and ask ourselves what more can be done.

Let today serve as a reminder that we all have a role to play in upholding the Constitution.
