On August 27th, 2010, ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ญ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐ฒ๐ was promulgated after Kenyans voted overwhelmingly in favour of the landmark legislation. A turning point in Kenya's history which promised notable reforms in good governance, accountability, and the rule of law.
Today as we observe ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐๐ฒ, we take a moment to reflect on the significance of this day and what it has meant for Kenya over the last 16 years. While we cherish and value the gains we have achieved, we also reflect on the gaps in implementation and ask ourselves what more can be done.
Let today serve as a reminder that we all have a role to play in upholding the Constitution.
