Right now in Nove, the only place nearby and outside of our mountain valley where we SHOULD have an unobstructed view of the west...but we don't. 😩 I guess we'll catch you again in 55 years. 😅

The way she adapts to new adventures, and actually thrives in those moments, leaves me in awe.

Give her new people and new scenes and she is the happiest little 17 month old I know.

Behind the scenes of a wonderful family photo shoot.

This cutie pie next to Emmy couldn't have been sweeter. He shared his prized Monster Truck with her, and didn't fuss when she held onto it just a little too long. What a gentleman.

He's four. She's 16 months. Let's talk in 30 years. 😂😂

What a fun surprise!

I had heard that one of my photos was displayed in downtown Bassano del Grappa, but I had forgotten about it until bham, there it was right in front of us in the main piazza during a family photo shoot.

I felt so cooooooooooool, but let's be honest, that Villa (my favorite in all of Italy) lends itself to beautiful photos.

It was a flaming hot day, 36 celsius/97 Fahrenheit, with a real feel of 42c/107f (or one level shy of Hades).

Yet, somehow we still had an incredible shoot, with an incredible graduate and her incredible family.

Kayla (c/o 2026) spent her entire high school life here at this home (rare for a military kid), but soon she's leaving this fairytale land to concentrate her future studies on film making at Syracuse U.

I love that she has that old Italian cinema chair in her room, a priceless loan from her landlord. Hopefully he lets her take it to her dorm room in NY. :)

Kayla, you are an impressive young woman and I cannot wait to see your screenplays come to life in a decade.

Give me a beautiful morning, in a beautiful villa all to ourselves, with a beautiful family, any day.
..and then spoil me more by having the ah-mazing children of the family we are photographing, adore Emmy.

A masquerade gala, a senior shoot with a future doctor from overseas and a first gelato...a great weekend filled with great photo shoots.

Jacob 2026 graduate.

Upon graduation from VHS, he'll be on his way to the States to do mission work.

Jacob, you already make a difference in lives, and no doubt you will continue to do so.

Congratulations, and also, WOW to breaking the school record this past weekend in the 200m (in a sport that he JUST picked up this year!).
