An hour before this image was taken it was clear blue skies and the beginnings of a nice sunrise. All of a sudden the sun had disappeared behind the fog.

These are a couple of my favourite trees in Northamptonshire and they’re always good for a late spring sunrise especially when the farmers planted Oil Seed. This morning was particularly memorable because of the rapid change in the weather. It changed from clear blue skies to thick fog in a matter of minutes.

I Spent the most magical morning last month wandering through Hazelborough Woods. There is nothing quite like the UK in spring when the forest floor completely transforms into a blanket of bluebells! As you can see even the pup was mesmerised by the view (or maybe just spotting a very lucky squirrel).
