We completed Monique & Ian's full wedding video this past week, and I’m going to miss working on it. Vanessa and I have been dealing with a crazy move and endless cleaning of our new studio space, so it was refreshing to reflect on Monique & Ian’s wonderful wedding day. So much love and positive energy.

Creating our full videos is a very different experience from the highlight reels. While the highlight reels capture the energy and elation of the day, our full videos tell a story. The full videos take weeks to complete, believe it or not, and these are some of our favorite shots!

We shot photo and video for Xin & Jesse’s tea ceremony, rehearsal dinner, and wedding day. We have so much to share from this weekend; it was the absolute best.

Filming the whole wedding weekend is a complete luxury, since it allows for time to meet and chat with people. We can safely say that Xin & Jesse are surrounded by a wonderful group, and we loved getting to know everyone.

I will add (as a bit of a hint about the video footage): the dance floor was crazy! I danced for two hours straight...

Two of the most beautiful people we know, inside and out.

We actually rescheduled this shoot three times due to rain (we had originally planned for summery, golden-hour). We decided to just go for it on attempt #3, and thank God we did. We had so much fun leaning into the moment and running around in the rain with Taleya & David.

We recently delivered Katherine & Alex's wedding video, and it was difficult to part with! Our wedding videos take around 2-3 weeks to complete, so by the time we're finished we feel like we know everyone from the wedding quite well. It's bittersweet, almost like saying goodbye to close friends. The people we meet are really the best part of this work.

Back when we were random roommates in college, I never could have imagined that someday I’d be shooting Miranda’s wedding, maternity session, and growing little family. It’s so special to not only be alongside my best friend for all of life’s milestones, but to help her capture them to look back on forever.
