After a pair of months of absence on IG due to lack of time cause of work and new home I’m back here with few fresh pictures of the latest arrival at 14 Nucleo Elicotteri based in Belluno and substituting the venerable AB412 in service since few months ago. “Fiamma 85” has now joined the group and flew several time last week giving me the chance to shot it…that was my first encounter with this aircraft type and welcome in the valley!! 🇮🇹🇮🇹

Another great highlight of this year in Aviano and a tail code that I never expected to see in my homebase so far way from here. A couple of Misawa based viper, belonging to 13rd Fighter Squadron “Panther Pack”, together with three SW made a quick fuel stop here on their way to the desert!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Hard to think that I could be able to see these amazing machines in my home again nowadays, but sometimes the unbelievable could happen so yesterday 11 mighty Hogs belonging to 75th and 76th FS made a quick stop over in Aviano. Thanks for passing by guys!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Last June 1st, in Grosseto, a new special livery was unveiled to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the 4th Wing. For the occasion, an afternoon access session reserved for photographers was organized, for which I would like to thank the Italian Air Force and the local Public Affairs Office.

This morning three great Ghostriders made a stop in Aviano, unfortunately all markings were covered up and on final for RWY 05 in the morning, all weapons are on the wrong side, but in any case very happy to get it. This particular airframe is belonging to 73rd Special Operation Squadron based in Hurlburt Field, Florida!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Without doubts the lowest take off I ever witnessed in Aviano!! This heavy Globemaster needed almost every single meters of the runway to became airborne and start its journey to Jordania, what a sight!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸

Just few minutes after the UAE Globemaster posted few days ago, Verona gave me another gem when this newly painted Spartan still with test registration but in full Azerbaijan livery made its appearance on a test flight from Turin!! 🇦🇿🇦🇿
