Every one of these frames was taken looking for the same thing: proof that elephants are still here. 🐘

Sometimes, the hardest part isn’t flying.
It’s deciding to leave the water.

There comes a point when comfort starts feeling smaller than possibility.

No crowd.
No applause.
No guarantee that the wind will be kind.

Just you, your wings, and the decision to move.

Taking off alone can feel uncertain, but it also teaches you something no one else can:

You are capable of carrying yourself.

Not every journey needs company.

Not every beginning needs approval.

Sometimes, growth begins the moment you stop waiting for someone to fly with you.

Take off anyway.

The sky has room for you.

They are built in silence.
In shared pauses.
In simply knowing someone is there.

Friendship is not always about constant conversation, grand gestures, or being present in every moment.
Sometimes, it is just this—

Sitting beside someone.
Facing the same world.
And feeling less alone because they are there.
The strongest bonds are often the quietest ones.
They do not demand attention.
They offer comfort.

On this Friendship Day, here’s to the people who stayed close without needing to say much—and made life feel lighter simply by sharing the journey.

My best tiger photographs are not necessarily the closest ones.

Some were made in perfect light.
Some emerged from darkness.
Some captured power.
Some held silence.
Some showed a mother protecting her cubs.
Others showed a tiger simply walking through the world it belongs to.

Over the years, these stripes have taught me patience, humility and respect.
Every sighting begins with excitement, but somewhere along the journey, the feeling changes.

You stop chasing only the photograph.
You begin noticing the forest.
The water.
The grass.
The silence before an appearance.
And the emptiness that remains after the tiger disappears.

These are some of my most treasured tiger frames—not only because of how they look, but because of what they made me feel.

On International Tiger Day, I am grateful for every moment the wild allowed me to witness.

But gratitude is not enough.
The tiger does not need only admiration.
It needs space.
It needs prey.
It needs connected forests.
It needs a future beyond our photographs.
May the next generation inherit living forests, not just beautiful images of what once existed.

You almost missed the tiger, didn't you?
And that's exactly how it should be.

A tiger was never meant to dominate our photographs. It was meant to disappear into a forest that was large enough to hide it.

Today, we celebrate the tiger.
Tomorrow, let's remember what truly keeps it alive.

Not fences. Not cameras. Not hashtags.
But forests that still breathe. Rivers that still flow. Grasslands left untouched. Silence that still belongs to the wild.

Every time a forest shrinks, a tiger loses more than land. It loses its home. Its future. Its cubs' tomorrow.
This photograph isn't about finding a tiger.

It's about realizing how small we are in a world that existed long before us—and how much responsibility we carry to ensure it exists long after us.

On the eve of International Tiger Day, don't just admire the stripes.

Protect the landscape that makes those stripes possible.
Because when the forest survives...
the tiger survives.
And when the tiger survives...
the forest still has hope.

Every tiger you see today exists because somewhere, a mother won countless battles you never witnessed.
She fought for territory. She hunted when she was exhausted. She kept her cubs hidden from danger. She taught them every lesson they would need to survive.
This photograph is more than a wildlife sighting. It's a reminder that every cub carries the future of an entire species.

May forests continue to echo with their footsteps. May these stripes never become memories.

There comes a point where solitude stops feeling empty... and starts feeling like home.

In a world that constantly demands noise, the wild teaches the opposite.

The strongest souls don't always travel in packs. Sometimes, they walk alone. Sometimes, they wait alone. Sometimes, they cross an entire lake with nothing but silence for company.

Watching this tiger alone in the middle of endless water reminded me that solitude isn't the absence of life—it's where life speaks the loudest.

Some journeys are meant to be shared.
Others are meant to change you in silence.
And perhaps that's where we discover who we really are.

The wilderness never fears being alone. Maybe neither should we.

"Not every silent presence is a threat."
Most people see a snake and immediately think of fear.
I see one of nature's most perfectly evolved predators.
Silent. Patient. Misunderstood.

Snakes have shaped ecosystems for millions of years, keeping rodent populations in check and maintaining the delicate balance of nature. Yet they remain among the most feared—and most persecuted—animals on our planet.

This portrait reminded me to slow down, observe, and appreciate the incredible detail that often goes unnoticed—from every scale and pattern to the calm intelligence reflected in its eye.

On this World Snake Day, let's replace fear with understanding and respect.
Because every species has a role to play, even the ones we fear the most.
Protect wildlife. Protect habitats. Protect the balance of nature.
