At 40 degrees, Brescia turns into a De Chirico painting. The usually vibrant Piazza della Loggia looks like a abandoned movie set—the white Venetian arches reflecting a blinding, white-hot glare that forces your eyes shut.

Bardolino completely stole my heart today. It’s a perfect mix of pastel-colored buildings, narrow stone alleys, and a vibrant harbor packed with colorful boats. I spent the afternoon strolling the lakeside promenade (lungomare), treating myself to some local gelato, and just soaking in the pure dolce vita energy.
Currently winding down the evening the only correct way: with a crisp glass of local Bardolino wine right by the water. 🍷🇮🇹
