'Classiebawn Castle'

Located in Mullaghmore, Co. Sligo with a serious amount of history behind it, is Classiebawn Castle.

A beautiful spot that often comes alive with huge swells and giant waves.

Ben Bulben sits looming in the background but, unfortunately, low cloud obscured the view.

A great place to visit and one I'll be heading to a bit more come winter.

Shot in Achill just as the sun dropped down.
The long exposure gives a hyper texturised feel against the soft airy water. It also let's so much light in when you're down in such a dark place.

Heres something that was done just for the craic and to see how it came out.

Long exposure, evening, Doolough Valley.

Thought it looked pretty cool and its definitely a different take on how this is usually seen.

'Calmer Violets'

From the above Mulranny, looking out across Clew Bay toward Mweelrea and the Sheefry peaks, summer evenings feel just a little better.

Everything settling into place the way it should.

Further to the west the sun was setting beautifully but the colour and light over the bay was just awesome.

This shot, like my last post is a triple exposed shot which works so well at capturing details and colour.

Essentially, a triple exposure is taking 3 pictures over one another on the camera.

'Doolough Dusk'

After a few hectic weeks I finally got round to getting some images off my camera from taken during the last fleeting spell of weather we had.

Doolough, to me, will always be a wonderous place. Full of beauty and stunning scenery it never fails to impress, specially on evenings like the one pictured.
