✨ Why is a booking deposit required?

I know this question comes up from time to time, so I'd like to explain.

When you book a session with me, that date and time are reserved exclusively for your family. This means I cannot offer that appointment to another client.

Your booking deposit secures your session and covers the preparation that begins long before you arrive. From planning your session, preparing props and outfits, to reserving my time, every booking requires work behind the scenes.

For this reason, the booking deposit is non-refundable if the session is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice.

This isn't meant to be unfair—it's simply how I protect my small business from last-minute cancellations that leave an appointment impossible to fill.

I completely understand that genuine emergencies can happen, and I always do my best to help whenever possible.

Thank you for understanding, respecting my time, and supporting a small local business. It truly means the world to me. 🤍

✨ 24 days young... and every bit as beautiful. 💕

Many parents worry they've "missed the perfect newborn window" once their baby is over two weeks old.

This precious little princess was 24 days old, and while she was more awake, more curious, and definitely had her own ideas about how the session should go... she still gave us the most beautiful memories. 🤍
Yes, the ideal age for classic sleepy newborn poses is 5–14 days (up to around 18 days), but every baby has their own story, their own personality, and their own kind of magic. So if your little one is already a few weeks old, don't worry. It's never too late to capture the tiny fingers, the soft cheeks, the sweetest yawns, and the love that fills your family.
