Delighted to get shortlisted and now have my image exhibited by the ‘Reach for the Stars’ astrophotography competition which is run by the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS). The competition aims to find the best astro-photographs taken in Ireland over the past year 2021 to 2022. All shortlisted and winning images can now be viewed on www.reachforthestars.ie. An outdoor exhibition of the shortlisted images will hang at the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies (DIAS) at 10 Burlington Road, Dublin from the 12th of August. The exhibition is free for anyone to attend, and can be viewed on the railings outside the DIAS building. Enda O'Loughlin's 'Forest Moon Rising over Slieve Aughty' captured from his front door in Kilchreest, , has been shortlisted to the final 40 images in the DIAS Reach for the Stars Photo Competition 2022.
