Their love for travel, wildlife and documentary photography allowed them to travel the world and document their journeys on the way. We have a saying in Ireland that someone can have “no airs and graces” meaning they are completely real, and at ease in themselves. I expected that of President Connolly, but not in the way I experienced it.

There’s a gentle “air” about her. A calm character, full of lightness and fun (swipe to see who couldn’t resist the climbing wall!).

She carries such natural “grace” in the way she meets people, making every single person feel seen and valued. There’s a genuine curiosity in how she listens, and a kindness in how she responds. She treated every question with care and respect, even the ones that brought a bit of laughter to the room.

In a world that currently feels dominated by power and ego, I felt an immense sense of pride that this Galway woman represents Ireland — with humility, humanity, and heart — on a global stage.

From cosy in-home sessions to windswept outdoor adventures filled with wild laughter and windblown hair, every moment I’ve been invited to capture has been such a privilege. A huge thank you as well to all the families who chose me for your communion shoots. Being part of such an important chapter in your children’s lives is something I never take for granted ✨

Adults are allowed to take up space.
Adults are allowed to book photos just for themselves.
And honestly, it’s one of the most fun kinds of sessions to shoot.

Taken in Ireland, with castle gates and green stone walls doing what they do best. But the real focus isn’t the setting. It’s the person in front of it.
This image came from a family shoot with an American family visiting Ireland, and it’s a reminder that adults don’t need a special reason to step in front of the camera.
No partner, no milestone, no excuse needed.
If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love photos like this, but that would feel awkward”… it won’t.
I’m easygoing, chatty, and very good at dissolving nerves within minutes. The camera fades into the background, the setting starts to feel familiar, and suddenly it’s just a good time in a great place. 📸
