Great joy in covering this gig by the amazing Kris Drever last night in The Duncairn Béal Feirste 🖤

All soundscaped by the class Tom Stanier 🤘🏼
We had Jack Warnock looking after sound for Iona Lane too 👏🏽

Gorgeous venue with great people there including countless volunteers, hosting brilliant artists like Kris, put it on your list!

Kris has a relatively new album out, called “Doing This For Love” - check it out.

You can catch one last Irish show tonight in Spirit Store Dundalk haiiii!

The Philly maestro, Conal O’Kane, on stage with GOITSE at Forest Fest 2026 - what a gig 🫶🏽

An absolute gentleman of the Irish music scene, Conal’s style is unmistakably his & contributes to Goitse’s phenomenal sound 🤍

If these workers had the courage to stand up to Dunnes Stores & apartheid South Africa back in the 80’s - then surely the FAIreland & our football players (who are there to REPRESENT the ROI) should be able to find the balls to do the same this weekend!!!

Come on lads, do the right fkn thing 🇮🇪

Every day is a bombardment of non-stop Ai images, posters, videos and it’s unbearable to be honest.
Things get even worse when you see renowned pages sharing Ai slop rather than real creator’s efforts, enough to make you give up.

Well, I’m posting this image of my favourite spot and I’d like to highlight just SOME of the effort that goes into image creation:

- Learning your craft, gear & constant upskilling.
- Investing in the gear & all the systems alongside.
- The time no one sees spent in editing.
- The time & patience required to get shots that stand out.

There are too many to list really but think about some of these the next time you choose to share a piece of Ai slop rather than a human creation 😶‍🌫️🫶🏽
