I’m fully qualified and accredited with 6 years of experience in creating and mastering professional baby photography in Dublin. Newborn photo sessions are best during the first two weeks of life, preferably days 5-10. In these first few days baby is the smallest they will ever be, still has got the newborn curl, sleep constantly, a
nd does not mind too much when they are being posed in various ways. In order to capture those adorable sleeping baby portraits, the younger the newborn baby is the better. It is advisable to book your photoshoot as early as possible after your 20-week scan, so please do not hesitate to contact me on [email protected] to book your tentative date. Newborn Photography sessions are held in our new custom build studio in Donabate Co Dublin. The studio is well equipped with lighting, a variety of props, blankets, and backgrounds. Upon booking your session you will be sent an information sheet to help you prepare for the day and make the most of our time together. Please set aside up to 4 hours for your newborn photography session as we allow time for feeding, nappy changes and surly some cuddling too. You may also like to have some photographs taken with your newborn baby. Please advise me prior as the additional setting will be required. I do encourage you to go for the ‘skin-to-skin’ type of portraits as they can make for some of the most precious images of a child and a parent that you will treasure for a lifetime. I offer a variety of unique, custom-made, and handcrafted products which would certainly do them justice. Please make sure to check the products for more info and sample images. Cake Smash session. A cake smash is an absolutely wonderful way to celebrate a birthday or to get memorable photographs of your baby! The images taken at a cake smash session are unique, and memorable and make incredible decor and gifts for your home and family. Cake smashes are fun for babies and parents, and provide a unique opportunity to capture your baby’s curiosity and personality at a young age. Many clients choose a cake smash session for documenting a baby’s first birthday, while others see the session itself as a special occasion! It is my pleasure to work with you and your family to craft a special photo experience just for your baby. After the cake is destroyed during the session, I include a clean-up “Rub-a-Dub” photo shoot, which involves an old-fashioned vintage baby bath, bubbles, and splash session. This once again allows an opportunity to record some magical moments and you then get to take home a lovely clean baby! You just need to bring a swim nappy, towel and your bubble bath! What’s included in this session? My skill and photographic experience include 3 part photo shoot sessions – the cake smash and rub-a-dub session. Props and clothing choices. Post-production editing. A private password-protected viewing gallery, so that you are able to make selections from the comfort of your own home at a time which suits you. An in-person viewing session, should you not wish to make selections via the viewing gallery or need some help in selecting images/products.
