Loverboy has only opened recently - and became super popular for a coffee stop or a quiet place to work. Inside the space is huge - and very unusual, with easy and artistic feel about it.

I didn’t dream my books and cards will be sold here. And taken with so much interest and love for local area - my heart melted. Thank you Maeve and all the team for this! I am honoured.

PHOTO-STORY BOOKS - BIG NEWS

Big news in my photo-story books department.

We normally need 3 weeks for my standard hardback layflat book.

But - if you don’t have 3 weeks - I can now do a paperback perfect bound book. It’s high quality, heavy silky paper, and looks very well for a paperback. In just 1 week!

That’s the big news. Still working on the pricing - it will be slightly lower than a layflat book…

Has anyone here bought my activity books or greeting cards?

I sold over a thousand copies of my books, and over two thousand cards - but only have one review of them (while plenty of reviews of photo-story books / naturally).

One or two review for activity books/greeting cards will mean a world to me!

Traditional local shops

I have now 12 shops stocking my activity books - in Raheny, Clontarf, Portmarnock and now Sutton!

Two of them are special. Belgrove Newsagent in Clontarf and little Bookhaven at Sutton Cross.

Smell of the books or newspapers. Cost little space, full with treasures. Lovely chat, and genuine interest. Low pace. Love for all things local. Feeling of stepping into a different world.

To me they are the best. And when they stocked my activity book they made me feel extra special, and even more part of local community.

Hope all the small shops will go on in good form along the big ones!

I had to say no to 12 or 15 potential customers because of their photo-story book deadlines. people were finding me say on Monday, with birthday coming on Sunday. My normal leadtime for a hardback layflat book is 3 weeks - a lot of it is print queues, printing and drying and delivering acrfoss Europe.

Now we have an option! Layflat is still a superior format. But - if you haven't got 3 weeks - we can print you a perfect bound paperback - professional and on high quality paper. Pictures will pop and your present will still look beautiful.

Rose Festival at St. Anne’s Park 18-19 July!

I’ll be at Red Stables, most of Saturday and Sunday, with my books - along brilliant artists from Vernon Art Group. I am humbled - and so proud to feature next to some of the best local art!

This year there is a new member of the group - Yana Koretska, a phenomenal Ukrainian artist. I love her art, just look at it!
