Mela，5歲。❤️
第一次見她的時候，
她完全沒有理會我們，只顧自己玩。
原本我們還打算再看看其他狗狗，
但離開之後，腦海裡一直都是她。
我們心想，
小狗總有很多人喜歡，
但 Mela 再大一點，等待她的人可能只會愈來愈少。
所以最後，我們選擇了她。
一個從來沒有養過狗的新手，
就這樣遇上一隻長大後 27kg、體型很大，膽子卻很小的「港女」。🤣
怕陌生人、怕人多、怕濕腳、怕熱，
有零食什麼都可以，沒有零食就當你透明。但她也是一隻很乖、很溫柔的天使狗狗。
五年過去，與其說我們陪 Mela 長大，
不如說，是她陪我們一起成長。
讓我們學會愛、包容、耐性與責任，
也學會放慢生活，珍惜那些看似平淡的幸福。慢慢變老，慢慢變好。❤️

When we first met her,
she completely ignored us and was only interested in playing by herself.
We had planned to meet some other dogs that day,
but after we left, we just couldn’t stop thinking about Mela.
We thought about how puppies always get so much attention,
but as Mela grew older, her chances of finding a home might only become smaller.
So in the end, we chose her.
As first-time dog owners,
we never imagined we would end up with a 27kg girl —
big in size, but incredibly timid at heart. 🤣
She’s afraid of strangers, crowds, wet paws and hot weather.
With treats, she’ll do anything. Without them, she pretends you don’t exist.
But underneath it all, she is the sweetest, gentlest little angel.
Five years have passed.
We used to think we were the ones watching Mela grow,
but looking back, she was the one who helped us grow.
She taught us love, patience, acceptance and responsibility.
She taught us to slow down,
and to appreciate the quiet happiness hidden in ordinary days.
Growing older, growing better — together. ❤️
