How was your May 4th? ✨

We spent ours celebrating 100 years of the Worthing Symphony Orchestra with a brilliant Night at the Movies.

A real highlight — the conductor leading the orchestra with a lightsaber while they played the iconic Star Wars theme… unforgettable. 🎶⚔️

🎬🍿 Movie Theatre Day 🍿🎬

There’s something truly magical about a movie theatre.
The lights dim, the trailers begin, and for a couple of hours we’re transported somewhere else entirely.

Watching films on the big screen creates moments and memories that stay with us forever.

Here in Worthing, we’re lucky to have two wonderful independent cinemas — the Connaught and the Dome — both keeping the magic of cinema alive for our community and film lovers alike. ❤️

Congratulations to all the nominees.

Our standouts this year for best film are: Sinners, One Battle After Another and Hamnet.

The awards ceremony will take place on 15th March
