This weekend I will be opening my studio again for the Suffolk Open Studios event. This will be my last two days of exhibiting this current collection of work.

When I came to Suffolk almost 20 years ago my photography was all family snaps and holiday memories. I was a single mum with no career and no confidence, but I did have courage, a passion for photography, a love of nature and a drive to succeed. My career grew from this enthusiasm. Not from awards or accreditation (although I do have several I am really proud of) but from finding a voice and a desire to share the beauty I see in the natural world around me.

It takes courage to put yourself out there, to show your work and open yourself up for comment, but along the way I have met so many lovely people and it is this photographic community that makes what I do so enjoyable.

This post contains a selection of the images that are currently on show in my studio. If you would like to come along and see the rest of my work and chat about photography then it would be lovely to see you. The studio is open from 11am - 5pm and I will be there both days. As well as my prints I have a selection of books, cards and calendars and some good discounts on all these products available for this weekend only.

Thank you to everyone who came to my open Suffolk Open Studios event at the weekend with a special thank you to the group from Frome Wessex Photographic - it was lovely to see you all.
