Butley River ferry, Suffolk – here since 1383

There are 15 images in the slide show, taken a few days ago showing the location and setting of the Butley River ferry. This ferry has been operating at this site since 1383 - and before that from a point a little downstream. Today it is run by volunteers from the Alde and Ore Association. The season starts today Saturday 4 April and runs on weekends and Bank Holidays until 11 October....

"Mid 1960s terraced housing, Little Brownings, Dulwich Estate, Forest Hill, London, SE23, England UK architects Austin Vernon and Partners - built according to Radburn planning principles" This set of images is from an urban trail - led my my son, his wife, their baby, and dog!- around the Sydenham Hill area of south London.
