This was a really amazing sighting of a pride of 26 lions, we sat with them for some while, the followed them as they walked off along the road and then into the bush. These youngsters were waiting for some of the others to catch up so they could then pounce on them. Really special.

I'm a little late as it was the 31 May that Kruger National Park turned 100 years old. I couldn't let this go by without my small tribute to a wonderfully magical place. My happy place. A place of memories, wildlife and personal, a place where I have seen and experienced wildlife encounters beyond my wildest imagination.
Thank you KNP and all those who keep it safe and magical.
