Kara Wilson Photography I adore taking photos of people having fun! Hi! I’m Kara, and I’m a mum of twins based in Wokingham. Then the war in Ukraine started.

Until February 2022, I’d mostly been taking photos of friends and family, and at events and parties. Over the years, my friends have been encouraging me to make more of my photography, so I headed to our local playground to offer photos in return for donations to a charity of their choice in support of Ukraine. I'll never know whether donations were made, but the process gave me the confidence to

do a bit more. So, if you like what you see, please follow me, and do get in touch if you’d like me to take some photos to capture those moments with special friends and family that you wish to treasure forever. Since starting properly in April 2022, I’ve been donating half of all I earn to Tearfund’s efforts in Ukraine.

Last week, Finchampstead was teeming with minions! Over 50 children donated money and fantastic toys in support of First Days Children's Charity , who do such a terrific job supporting children in Reading, Wokingham and Bracknell. Huge thanks to Cakes by Lizzie for providing the incredible cake, and to Treasure Box Parties for laying on the spectacular entertainment. The children (and parents!) are bound to remember the fun for years to come! How encouraging that our next generation are already proving to be kind hearted and generous. Bravo little minions!
