If you value the candid moments above everything else…. Don’t create a timeline that has you needing to be in a different location every 15 minutes. Your drinks and canapé time is usually 1.5-2 hours during summer months but could be less during winter.
If you want the candid moments you (and I) need to be there to get them.
Ideally you will be using 20-30 minutes on formal group photos and 15 minutes for couples portraits. The rest can be mingling time.
And I’m not joking when I tell you that this time is going to fly by…
I’m always available
To chat to my couples about when and how to fit things into the timeline in a way that will suit them (and not just the copy and paste timeline most venues hand out).

Wedding day Guinness for Megan & Al at their wholesome and intimate wedding.
Joined by just their close friends and parents.
I met them for just an hour as they left the registrar office for some photos with their loved ones and for some couples portraits.
On their enquiry form Megan said “all your couples look very comfortable and their smiles and laughter looks so natural”
From our first call we all got in so well and share a very similar sense of humour so I knew it would be a wonderful shoot.

I’ve had some time away from socials during the busiest time of the season. Editing and getting galleries to couples in, what I consider a reasonable turnaround, is always at the forefront of my business.
It’s also given me a well deserved rest from “social media fatigue” (it’s a real thing) but had given me time to reflect on how I want my social media to look. It’s my business shop window after all.
So I’m having a little insta refresh…
Don’t worry still the same me rambling on my story and still in my pjs at midday.
But maybe a little grid organising moving forward…

Pre wedding shoots |
Are almost upon us.
I’m so excited to start meeting my 2027 couples in real life!
I met Jamie and Eleanor at the beach for a very last minute one that we squeezed in, a few weeks ago.
We laughed a lot and despite Jamie having to be bribed with a pizza afterwards, I think he looks like he had fun 😂
Awesome couple and I’m so excited for their wedding.
