One of the most asked questions I’ve had recently is when is the best time to book your newborn session once baby has arrived.

The ideal timeframe is when your baby is 5-21 days old (from babies due date), this is when babies are most sleepy & most likely to settle in to those sleepy newborn poses you see on my profile.

If you have missed this window please don’t worry, any age is a beautiful age to capture, they may just be more awake, but will never be as small as they are today.

Booking a session while you are pregnant is recommended, I use your due date as a guide then we book a date for your session once baby arrives. I only book in a small number of newborns per month to guarantee a space while baby is under 21 days from their due date 🤍

Oh I just love every single one of these!! Mom wanted some updated portraits of these lovely sisters. The last time I captured them both was when Ayla was a little newborn. Seeing them again was so nice & they were both such a pleasure to photograph.
Mini sessions are short & sweet, around 30-45 minutes & perfect if your after small gallery of photos with the option to add more if you’d like 🤍

Happy Friday everyone & what a beautiful weekend ahead we have ☀️
I have my final 2 sessions of the week today with a 6 month old for her sitter session & a cake smash this afternoon for an almost 1 year old, both I photographed as newborns last year so looking forward to seeing them again & how much they have grown.
I’ll be taking some time off sessions next week for half term, however I’ll still be replying to messages, if you’d like to book a session or have any questions drop me a DM.
Editing update- I’m completely caught up with editing final galleries, which feels amazing, if you have received a proof gallery to select the photos you’d like please let me know once you have made your final selections & I’ll add these to my editing list. Proof galleries are currently 2-3 weeks from your session date.
