When cake smashes just aren't for you, we do a birthday portrait session instead!
🍰 I have ALOT of people that get in touch about birthday shoots and just don't want a cake smash - they're not for everyone and that's okay! But it doesn't mean we can't still get some special photographs to capture your little one's birthday!
Here are some different ideas for getting those birthday photographs...

🧸 Bring along some of your little one's favourite soft toys and let them play! The perfect way to make them feel at home is to bring a piece of home with them, then let me capture all the giggles!

🎶 Pick a few favourite outfits and bring a playlist of some of your baby's favourite music - we'll have a birthday bop in the studio and capture all the fun!

🔤 Props! Numbers or letters representing their age are perfect for capturing some special birthday photos (I even have some that you can use!)

🎈 Balloons are a great way to either add a little pop of colour to your images or give a neutral backdrop some more texture - just let me know what colour you're thinking! They also double as something to play with during the photoshoot!

I loveee a prop pose but there's something special about capturing a newborn in all their tiny glory, without the extra bits - fluffy hair, teeny toes, wrapped and relaxed.

After nursery photography takes over life May - July, studio bookings can start to take a front seat again!

📆Book your due date in once you've had your 20 week scan. This means I can keep time free and guarantee you a session, even baby arrives a little early, or late. I only take a set number of bookings each month to ensure I have time and can be flexible

👶 You then just let me know once baby has arrived and we schedule your actual session date and time!
