It's Knutsford Makers Market this Sunday and I'll have my usual stall outside Detaljer on Princess Street. I'll be showing some different framed portrait photographs because I've sent several of my display frames to be refurbished. Some have been damaged, a couple will get new photos and some will get new frame rims as my framer has added some gorgeous new designs to the collection.

One frame II'll definitely being showing is this one of Fin, probably the most gorgeous Golden Retriever I have ever photographed. A true gentle giant.

Here's one for anyone who is still looking for a fab Mother's Day gift for this Sunday's Mothers' Day.

My family portraits make amazing gifts to treasure forever but with only three days to go, my gift vouchers are the quickest way to gift a portrait. A few weeks ago Joanna Scott-Aspray asked me to photograph her event on Thursday at Cibo Gran Cafe in Wilmslow, Cheshire.

What an amazing day. I was totally outnumbered but Chadwick from Prism Studios was there to capture all the live action. Fantastic turnout as you'd expect with Joanna's events. Great speakers and loads of lovely guests. I wasn't expecting to see many people I knew so it was a lovely surprise to catch up with Annette Williams, Julia Brown and her team from Family Legal, Lisa Victoria Harper 💜(who volunteered me), Estelle Maher TAUK Publishing, Emma Guy and meet so many new faces.

Here's a very quick slideshow from the day. The day was fast paced with so much energy in the room and, like all good parties, finished with a boogie.

Today I'm talking about Twigg. A very handsome rescue German Pointer and the most nervous dog I've ever photographed . But what a star. We started the session by going for a walk and after about 20 minutes he settled down and put his brave face on and we started taking photos.

This is one of my favourites from the session. When I'm talking to people about photographing their dogs, the usual objection is 'but you'll not get my dog to sit still'. Over the last 17 years photographing people and pets I've always managed to get the photographs I wanted. It just requires practice and patience and persistence, like most things in life and in business.

So if you'd love photos of your fur baby but you think they won't sit still, you know who to call.
