Just been into the Fenland Darkroom to file away three rolls of colour film retrieved from the drying cabinet. Made a hasty retreat as it was 30 degrees and stuffy in there.
Came in and rewound “the unknown film” from this little cutie to discover it was Delta 400…

In all the years I’ve been at this I can’t have exposed more than a handful of rolls of this certainly excellent film. Can’t see that changing.

I’ve used most C41 chemicals over the past 15 or so years and now have settled on Adox.
Developed 7 rolls back in December last year then stored in my fridge with air excluded using the wine stoppers.

I can now say with relief that the 8th roll developed today is absolutely fine - my first colour roll through the sprocket rocket.

It’s been 2 1/2 weeks since my new hip was inserted (I need to watch a you tube video to see exactly what it was like) , anyway today I’m back in the Fenland Darkroom and thought it was a good time to retest my two 902 safelights , I have an Ilford DL20 hanging from the ceiling and an SLD 10 toward my dry side bouncing off the ceiling .

I’m all good up to 6 mins on the dry side and a further 6 on the wet side. In reality I get more time as my safelights are wired through the brilliant F stop timer so they switch off automatically when the enlarger exposure is being made, that can be lengthy depending on the complexity of the print and the degree of enlargement.

Anyway happy enough

A few years back when Flickr started charging for having more than 1000 images on their site I deleted loads of images to get below the magic number , with hindsight it was a dumb move. Anyway sinc…

Carbon toned lith print – LCA 120 As I await a replacement hip I’ve been consciously reaching out to friends to come over for coffee or maybe a darkroom session and where possible meeting up …
