On 15 August 2026, Liz and Ashley said, "I do!" at the wonderful Trading Boundaries.

The venue is a unique setting in the Sheffield Green area of East Sussex and I was excited to shoot my first wedding there. Liz and Ashley were so helpful in the lead up to the big day, meeting Linda and I at Trading Boundaries to discuss their expectations and to give us all an opportunity to go through the timings.

Natalie, the wedding organiser at the venue, was also on hand to ensure that everything on the day would run smoothly!

On the day, Linda and I were all set to capture those special moments throughout the afternoon and into the early evening, culminating in the Ceilidh and first dance.

We travelled the short distance down to The Dripping Pan, the very unique home of Lewes FC.

Their opponents in the Isthmian Premier Division were Eastbourne Borough FC and a very tight match ended 1 - 0 to the Rooks.

This morning, we made the short trip to Warnham Local Nature Reserve with Georgia and Isaac.

Both are keen to learn about photography so, armed with a Canon 7D II and a Canon EF 70 - 200 mm F/2.8, they made their way out onto the reserve.

As we made our way down through the hides, we stopped off at our second hide, the Aston Trelford and were very happy to see a Kingfisher perched just outside!

Isaac managed to get a couple of shots and I got a few too.

Now, here's the story - Isaac is 10 years old and just starting out on his photography journey. I am quite a bit older (59 to be exact!) and have 11 years experience under my belt.

I haven't posted an image of a sourdough loaf for a while.

Quite honestly, this one is not a lot different to the others. However, the reason I have posted this one is the request for a few more slices than two that I gave out a few months ago!

You may well find that a loaf, or at the very least a few slices come your way in the not too distant future ...
