GEORGE IS 5!
My baby boy turns 5 today, I cannot believe it, how quickly those years have passed. A couple of weeks ago, I spent a few mins on the park updating his portraits (and I mean a few minutes, that's literally all he sits still for!) so in celebration of his birthday I'm sharing them here along with some things I want to remember about him as he is just now:
- George you have the biggest curls and brown eyes equally matched by your big, wild and infectiously joyful personality
- everyone single person I meet tells me how beautiful your curls are and how full of fun you are
- your are the happiest, chattiest little guy, you love singing and dancing and talking non-stop!
- you hate going to sleep, probably because you have fear of missing any kind of fun, but you actually love your sleep and once you've nodded off you're out for the count because you're exhausted!
- you love music and singing and dancing. Current faves include Oasis - supersonic, champagne supernova, and whatever - as well as K-pop, I'm a Barbie girl and Man city chants!
- you don't give out cuddles and kisses all that much, but when you do they're the best - you're squishy and scrumptious!
- but you do often reach for my hand and your little dimply fingers in my hand actually make my heart melt - I know it won't be forever 😭
- your rock a hat/socks and crocs/a pink t-shirt like no one else can, pink is your fave colour 💕and you're the coolest dude 😎
- you love Bluey, superhero's, Lego, cars, water balloons, football, cricket and fighting your big brothers 🤣
- you have taught me patience like I didn't know was possible because you are extremely headstrong and fiercely independent- you want to do everything yourself and how you want it.
- George you are an absolute force of nature and I hope you never change my boy 💙we love you to the moon and stars and back again, Mummy, Daddy, Charlie and Jack xx
