A fairy 1st birthday theme for Ayda's birthday photoshoot. She had a cake, smashed it and then enjoyed bubbles afterwards! It's always lovely to have some photographs before the cake is placed in front of them. It's their characteristics and what they are able to do now they are 1 and no longer a baby that I like to capture.

Two weeks since Nicole & Joe married in Leicester. They had an intimate ceremony at the registry office then onto a lovely meal with their families 💚

Did you know Leicester had such a pretty registry office?! Me neither.

Family sessions are really special and timeless. It's so lovely to have these to look back on and pause busy family life just for 30 minutes or an hour.

These were taken a few years ago in the bluebell woods and what a beautiful time of year Spring is! I love it.

Lots of pre-wedding photoshoots happening at the moment which takes me back to Scarlett & Mark's engagement session a year ago. To countdown to their wedding day this weekend. Honoured to be asked to photograph a friend I've known for a very very long time! So excited for their wedding and being a bridesmaid.

Another request for this pink and white balloon setup. With a few florals and foliage in between.

With the cake, you provide that yourself. Though it can be added on at an extra cost.
I find buttercream to be the better cake toppings - messy but easier for the little hands to 'smash'.

I really enjoyed creating this and Elsie had the best time!

Exploring your venue is one of the parts of your day you get just to yourselves (well, with your photographer tagging along!). It’s one of my favourite parts of the day where you get to relax a little after feeling nervous about being in front of all your family and friends.

Laura & Tom had a beautiful winter wedding day at and made the most of the outdoors and walled garden.

Those quiet moments in the first two weeks after birth. Newborns are one of my favourite types of photoshoot. When you're still not quite sure how you have a tiny human to look after or what day of the week it is. I try to make sure the photoshoot is as calm as possible and enjoyable for everyone in front of the camera.

Newborn sessions are in the comfort of your own home, I'll bring everything with me that we will need and it saves you needing to remember everything before you leave the house. No added stress.

Louie slept for most of his session, but if your baby is awake it doesn't matter. My sessions are baby-led so either is absolutely fine and will still mean you have wonderful photographs to look back on forever.

I bring wraps with me so they can either wear their own clothes or be wrapped in one of the neutral coloured wraps I have.
