The end of summer is here but that doesn’t mean sunset sessions are over! September is one of the best times to book your family session because sunsets are so much earlier now, which is great for little ones. Also, way less sweating whilst trying to look good in photos 🤭

September is nearly here ✨

I have lots of availability for sunset family sessions this autumn.

There’s a little bonus to September sunsets because they’re not quite as late, which makes them much more manageable for little ones who don’t cope brilliantly with late evenings.

Beautiful light, happy kids and no need to keep them up until bedtime 🤍

When I first spoke with Emily & Dan about their wedding day plans, they decided that 4 hours of photography would be enough for them.

But, like most couples who book shorter coverage, they ended up upgrading to a full day, and I’m so glad they did.

With a venue like National Trust Stourhead, it would be such a shame to miss out on the buggy ride through the gardens during golden hour, where we can capture some of my favourite couple portraits from the day.

It’s one of those parts of the day that you just can’t squeeze into 4 hours, and I really think it’s worth making the time for 🤍

Sunshine, drinks, outdoor speeches and loads of time for everyone to just enjoy being together. My kind of wedding!

Sometimes all it takes is a beautiful location, your favourite people and one fun idea.

I had so much fun with Emily and her bridesmaids at on Saturday. This venue has so much to offer couples, with endless photo opportunities. It’s a photographers dream!

This was my second time shooting at Stourhead Gardens and I’m hoping it won’t be my last. If you’re getting married here in 2027 and you’re still searching for your wedding photographer, I’d love to hear from you.

There’s something truly magical about a family session at sunset.

The kids get to run around, explore and just be kids. The light is beautifully soft, and you get to slow down and enjoy being together.

No awkward posing. Just real moments and your family exactly as you are.

I only have a handful of sunset sessions available during July and August, and these really are the best months for the beautiful fields near me.
