Who in their right mind would set fire to this?
It's one thing for our countryside to have been made as volatile and flammable as it is, but for people to now deliberately set it ablaze is unforgivable.
Mynydd Drummau is to many an obscure hill but to my community, it's our mountain. There's not a single person I know who hasnt been here, climbed up the insane amount of steps and looked upon the place we all call home.
It's a special place, one that's home to incredibly rare temperate rainforest, pockets of bluebells, nesting red kites and buzzards and countless more wildlife. It boasts some crazy views, from Pen y Fan all the way to Mumbles and even across the channel to Devon on a clear day.
It's a shame for such a remarkable place to be treated in this way
