A montage from Saturday 29-8-26 great to see the sea moving again, not bad for a bank holiday, end of summer kind of thing. Looking forward to things livening up for the coming season. Was a pretty lovely summer though.

Some more water based shots from a pretty buzzing Sunday eve on the south coast. Still very unhappy with the cost to park though. Thanks to the ladies and gentlemen I chatted with who added their signatures to the parking charge petition. Much appreciated.

I have also set up a petition using change.org to petition to the port against the extortionate parking charges and change of system and more importantly there choice in using GXS to manage this for them. This company are ruthless, aggressive, intimidating and bully car owners and need to go. We need to take them to task here for the future of this great community. Please please sign and share to anyone and everyone. It is important for preserving the future of what we all know and love. Thanks (there should be a link in my bio) please let me know if there are any issues with this as I don’t really know what I am doing 😩 hopefully it should work we need to fight this. I’ve had some great response already.

First the extortionate car parking price hike, now it appears the Shoreham Port have closed access to the beach for the public for four months from 6th July to carry out work on the sea defences. Just thought I would bring this to your attention. I have been away for a few days but have written a letter to the Port CEO and to the chair of the Board requesting and meeting with them as unfortunately we just missed their AGM. I have written to complain about the parking charges and my concerns over GSX parking management. I think a petition is needed from the community to contest the extortionate parking fees to get things moving. Now I find they have blocked access to the beach for four months. I will await the response and update when I know more. This is not looking good on all fronts for our beloved community. 😖 if anyone would like to get together for a meeting about this to put heads together please let me know and let’s arrange something.
