I don’t know where to start to describe how amazing Grace & Jay’s wedding day was. I think this one hit home even more because I’ve known Grace for a good few years and to be asked to capture her wedding day was an absolute honour !

They didn’t really want many formals at all just them having the time of their lives with their family and friends and oh yes they did this !! Thanks again both ❤️

Not every wedding day needs to be a performance

Some are serene, beautiful and deeply personal. This was one of those weddings. The couple are happy for me to share of their story here but they are also private people and have chosen not to have their faces shared online and I absolutely love that!!

Your wedding isn’t a photoshoot for Instagram. It’s your day, your people, your memories.

My job is to capture how it felt to be there whether that’s big messy and full of noise or quiet, intimate and beautifully understated.

And to be honest, I love them all!!

When the guests are up on the tables dancing the afternoon away and the bride and groom are crowd surfing around the marquee you know it’s set to be a good one!!

It’s a new format for me this year and I love the way it is really forcing me to slow down and be more intentional with the way I shoot. This year is the year for experimenting, making mistakes and learning every day so I can add it to my packages from next year onwards. Can’t say they are the best but I’m learning a little bit every day 💪🏼
