Fun. Energetic. Non-stop. And absolutely full of amazing people. ❤️
And just like that… the final wedding of August is done! 🥂
10 weddings in August — COMPLETE. 🎉
Now for the small matter of all the editing… 😅💻
September is already kicking off with 3 weddings in the first week, so there’s definitely no slowing down just yet!
I honestly can’t thank every couple who has booked me to capture such an important part of their day enough. Being trusted to be there for the laughs, happy tears, crazy dance floors and all those little moments in between is something I never take for granted.
It’s been an absolutely brilliant summer, and I’m so grateful for every single one of you who has been part of it. 🤍

There’s just something more romantic about film. 🎞️
This portrait was shot on Ilford HP5, and honestly, it’s one of the reasons I still love shooting film.
Look closely at the grain. It gives the image a softness and character that, no matter how good digital cameras and editing software become, digital photography just never quite seems to replicate.
It’s not perfectly clean. It’s not clinically sharp. And that’s exactly what I love about it.
Film has texture. It has imperfections. It has a feeling.
Digital gives us incredible possibilities, but film has a certain romance to it.
And sometimes, that’s what makes a photograph feel timeless.

What a day! One of the most colourful weddings I’ve had the pleasure of being part of, and every little detail was full of personality.
Holly had created all of her own flowers and decor, and it looked incredible — a real labour of love that made the whole day feel so completely them. 🌸🌺
Then, as if the day couldn’t get any better, Craig surprised everyone in the evening with his own rendition of Mustang Sally… and absolutely smashed it! 🎤🔥
A day packed with colour, fun, laughter and, most importantly, some seriously great people.

GUIDED, NOT POSED.
I’m guessing most brides would say they don’t really want “posed” photographs.
And honestly, neither do I.
I prefer the word guided.
Give me just 15 minutes after bridal prep and I can create images like these — without making you feel like you’re on a photoshoot.
A little direction, a little movement, finding the right light and letting you feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Wedding mornings can be hectic. There’s hair and make-up, content being created, family, bridesmaids, last-minute details… and before you know it, the registrars have arrived and it’s time to go.
And sometimes, despite everyone having the best intentions, the time simply disappears.
That’s when I can find myself with the dress, the light and a bride who looks incredible… but no time to actually create the photographs.
I’m not asking for hours.
Give me 15 minutes.
Let me guide you, rather than pose you.
Those 15 minutes can make the difference between simply documenting how you looked on your wedding day and creating a handful of beautiful, timeless portraits that you’ll want to put on the wall.
And I promise, I’ll give you those 15 minutes back. 🤍

Another incredible summer wedding, and what a day it was for Millie & Joseph at the beautiful Hogarths Hotel in Solihull. ☀️💍

Another scorcher of a day, blue skies from start to finish, and these two absolutely embraced it!

Cars are a huge part of Millie & Joseph’s lives, so there was no way they weren’t making them part of the celebrations. Millie had her pride and joy, a gorgeous VW Beetle, while Joseph brought along his BMW project car. It might still be a work in progress… but with no windows fitted, you could definitely argue it was the perfect choice for the hottest day of the year! 😂🚗☀️

From the sunshine and laughter to all the little personal touches that made the day uniquely theirs, it was a real privilege to capture every moment.

Congratulations again, Millie & Joseph! Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and plenty more adventures together. ❤️
