Caught part of an awesome live performance from Pirate Taxi at Southport’s Big Top Festival 🎪 The town was absolutely packed with people, creating an amazing atmosphere all around. Even though the sun kept hiding behind the clouds, the energy and vibes didn’t disappoint at all!

Great to see events like this bringing so many people together 🙌

MLEC Project Southport Update – What’s Going On? 🤔

Southport hillside update (12th April) 🚧 | Rapid changes at Royal Birkdale

Latest drone footage from 12th April shows just how quickly things are changing near Royal Birkdale Golf Club.

Compared to previous years, the scale of development now feels much bigger — more machinery, more groundwork, and even more transformation of the land. New roads are expanding, the site is growing fast, and it’s clear that work is progressing at a much higher pace.

It really looks like more effort is being put into reshaping this area than ever before.

With the upcoming event getting closer, everything is ramping up — but it still leaves the big question:

👉 Will this land be restored after it’s all over, or are these changes here to stay?

Drone view over Kew Estate in Southport 🚁 — looks like more development could be on the way. There are multiple containers set up for staff, heavy machinery on site, and early stages of road construction already visible with new curbs being formed. Definitely one to keep an eye on!

Crystal Palace Event Prep from Above 🚁

Take a look at the preparations for the upcoming Crystal Palace event in Southport from a unique aerial perspective. You can see the scale of the setup, including a massive crane and teams working hard to get everything ready.

This flight was carried out legally and responsibly. Although there were council policies in place, there was no restricted airspace. I also spoke with representatives beforehand and made sure to keep a safe distance from the working area at all times.

Safety is always my priority — no close flying near people or equipment.
