With the recent heatwave, does it make anyone else want to pack a suitcase and head off on holiday? ☀️🏖️

Sadly, I wasn't checking into one of these beautiful cottages... I was there with my camera! 📸

I recently photographed this gorgeous property for Classic Cottages, and it reminded me just how important great photography is. It's not just about showing a room, it's about capturing the atmosphere, the light, and those little details that make you think, "I could definitely spend a week here."

Beautiful images help holiday cottages stand out and give guests a real feel for the space before they even arrive.

Now, if only every photoshoot came with a complimentary week's stay... 😄

Where would you be heading if you could escape this week?
Fancy staying here check out. Classic Cottages

One of my favourite organisations that I'm a member of is Hampshire Fare C.I.C., and on Saturday, despite the pouring rain, I headed to the South Downs Food Festival with my camera. 📸

I had the pleasure of photographing Luke Emmess, a finalist on MasterChef: The Professionals, cooking alongside Natasha Dochniak. Together they were absolutely cooking up a storm in the Hampshire Fare Cookery Theatre.

The food tasted incredible, and I’ll definitely be booking myself a table at The Wykeham Arms to enjoy more of Luke's outstanding cooking. Luke has been making waves as a MasterChef: The Professionals finalist and is Head Chef at the Wykeham Arms in Wi******er.

It was an incredible festival, packed with talented producers, makers, chefs, and artisans. Even the rain couldn't dampen the atmosphere!

If you love great food, local produce, and meeting passionate people, make sure you put the South Downs Food Festival in your diary for next year. 😊

STOP scrolling for a second… couldn’t you just sit here with a glass of wine and ignore your emails for a week? 🍷☀️

That’s the power of great interior photography. People don’t just book a holiday let they book the feeling the photos give them.

With the right imagery, guests are already imagining slow mornings, sunny afternoons, and staying longer than planned.

If your property photos aren’t making people want to pack a suitcase immediately, it might be time for an update 📸

DM me for more info and how my photography can make a difference.

“Quick question…why does your entire team look like they were photographed at different weddings?” 😅
We’ve all seen it.
The selfie.
The blurry crop.
The one where Dave’s still holding half a pint 🍺
But here’s the thing — in business, people don’t buy services.
They buy people.
And before anyone reads your website…
they’re already judging your faces.

Your headshots are your first impression.
They quietly say:

👉 “you can trust us”

👉 “we know what we’re doing”

👉 “we’re worth contacting”

…or they don’t.

No pressure.

Good headshots aren’t about being perfect.
They’re about looking real, consistent, and like a team people actually want to work with.
Because you can fake a photo…but you can’t fake trust.

Real people, real photography
Loved capturing this with the team at Kingsclere Veterinary Surgery 🐾
Proof that whether it’s people or pets… trust starts with a face you recognise. 📷
