Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has messaged me over the last 24 hours. Your kind words, support, and encouragement have meant so much and have honestly reminded me how lucky I am to have such amazing clients and followers behind me.
Some of you may have seen already on my stories, I recently discovered that some of my watermarked images had been altered and shared without purchase. As a photographer, this was incredibly disheartening. Every image I create represents not only my creativity and passion, but also the countless hours of work that go on behind the scenes.
Anna Rose Photography is a small business run solely by me. From photographing sessions and weddings, to editing galleries, answering enquiries, marketing, admin, training, and investing back into the business, everything is done by one person. Because of that, situations like this can be incredibly damaging. It’s not simply a photo being shared, it’s the misuse & stealing of work that I have poured my time, skill, and heart into creating.
Today I have spent time researching and implementing new processes to better protect my images moving forward, the decision to no longer send sneak peeks and how galleries are delivered. ( wedding aren’t effected in this )
Whilst I am still disappointed by the situation, I won’t let this negative experience take away from the love I have for what I do or the experience I provide for my wonderful clients.
Thank you again to everyone who reached out, checked in, the tog community for sharing advice, and everyone who showed support. Your messages have genuinely helped me see the bigger picture and reminded me why I do what I do.
This is just a bump in the road, and I will continue doing what I love ; capturing precious memories for the wonderful families and couples who value my work and trust me with their most important moments ❤️
