I first met Nigel in the garden house in December 2009, my life would never be the same again.

To have spent the last 16 years documenting his life and becoming close friends has been an honour.

The work and legacy speaks for itself. The man himself however, his energy, his enthusiasm and his sheer lust for life and fun is hard to do justice. To see the outpouring of love and celebration across the world of what an unbelievable man he was is testament to him.

Nigel was an ambassador for LIFE, they DO NOT make many like him, I feel blessed to have been able to share some of his journey and to be able to have experienced the force of nature he was.

He believed in me, he was loyal to me, he teased me, he told me I ate too many doughnuts.

We love you Nige, he knew that at the end and that meant the world to me.

I bet he is causing a right fu***ng stir up there right now!
