A new baby. A proud big brother. A whole new chapter 🤍

When you bring your newborn for a session, I make time for their older siblings too — a little attention, a few giggles and photographs just of them.

We even practise cuddling a pillow before the real sibling cuddles, helping them feel comfortable and involved. 🥰

Because becoming a big brother or sister is a special milestone of its own, and deserves to be remembered.

One day, you might show your little one a photograph and say, “That’s you in my tummy.” 🤍

All those little kicks. The hand resting on your bump. The wondering who they’ll look like and what it will feel like to finally hold them.

Pregnancy can bring so many feelings. You might be excited, exhausted, a little nervous, or all three at once. You don’t have to love every moment, or feel confident in front of a camera, to want a memory of this time.

A maternity session gives you space to pause and be in the photographs yourself. I’ll gently guide you throughout, with time to get comfortable and feel like you.

My hope is that, when you look back at your images, you remember the connection you were already building with the little person you hadn’t yet met.

Your newborn gallery isn't just about one perfect pose… 🤍

It's about capturing all the little things you'll want to remember.

The sleepy photographs.
Those tiny eyelashes and lips.
The little expressions when they decide they're definitely NOT going back to sleep. 😂
And all those newborn details that change far too quickly.

During your session we'll create a variety of photographs, from simple, timeless portraits to beautifully styled images, while always following your baby's lead.

There's no rushing. There's time for feeding, cuddles, settling and changing setups along the way.

Because the aim isn't simply to give you a photograph of your newborn.

It's to give you a gallery that takes you straight back to just how tiny they were. 🤍

“But what if my baby doesn't sleep during the session?” 🤍

It's something I get asked a lot and the answer is, they don't have to.

Some babies sleep almost all the way through their newborn session. Some are wide awake and curious. Most do a little bit of both.

I simply follow your baby.

There is plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, settling and comforting, and if your little one decides they'd rather have a good look around than sleep, we can create beautiful awake portraits too. Just look at those little eyes. 🥹

I've been photographing newborn babies since 2013, and my sessions are relaxed and baby-led, with your baby's safety and comfort always coming first.
